Time Bank Taranaki

A Timebank is an initiative that enables citizens / neighbours and groups to connect with each other and use their skills and gifts to help one another out. Through the process of helping another, one accumulates ‘time credits’ which are logged in an online time account. One can ‘purchase’ help from other members by using their time credits.

We would love to invite any and all interested people to a public meeting on the Timebank

  • When: 7.30pm – 8.30pm, Wed April 11
  • Where: Peace Hall, Vivian Street (across the road from Saint Mary’s Cathedral)

April Lunch Meeting

Join us this coming month for our monthly lunch and get together.

Youth Event for Stewardship Day

Taranaki Cathedral Church of St Mary’s is hosting a fun filled night for youth in honour of Stewardship Day. There will be fun, food, praise and worship along with a screening of the highly acclaimed movie Courageous, plus guest speaker Rev. Francios Bredenkamp. All welcome

Creation Ministries International

Rod Walsh (the Ark Man), of Creation Ministries International (and his wife, Nancy) will be in New Plymouth and speaking at St Andrews Presbyterian Church. Rod has some excellent material and is well worth hearing on such an important topic in a Biblical Worldview.

About Rob

In 1997 Rod was inspired to build a model of Noah’s Ark to show that it was a real part of history. Over the next 7 years, Rod & Nancy ministered to more than 600 venues around Australia, speaking to churches, Sunday Schools, schools, shows etc. before starting work with CMI Australia in 2005.

Rod brings a wealth of experience to Creation Ministries International. He’s been a Christian since 1981, and over this time he has been a Sunday School Superintendent, Elder and spent several years going into Barwon Prison with Prison Fellowship.
